A Shell Beach attorney with a passion for local history, an interest that he says was kindled by two dedicated teachers.

He is president of the Harbor Commission, and helped to transform the Unocal pier into Cal Poly’s marine lab. He has also been active in the Aquarium Society and in creating Dinosaur Caves Park.
